About our CEO

"I’m LaTeisha Fort, the CEO and founder of Fort Care Clinic, a venture born from my deep-seated calling to nurture and heal as a seasoned Nurse Practitioner.”

LaTeisha N. Fort, a beacon of resilience and compassion, stands at the forefront of healthcare innovation as the CEO of Fort Care Clinic, LLC. Her illustrious journey in medicine began in the vibrant city of Chicago, where she was born and raised, and where she cultivated her dedication to healing. LaTeisha’s remarkable career spans from being an acute care nurse practitioner with expertise in internal medicine, neurosurgery, and trauma, to her roots as a registered nurse versed in critical care, internal medicine, home healthcare, and post-surgical care.

A mother of two spirited young men, LaTeisha balances her professional endeavors with the joy and challenges of motherhood. Her love for exploration transcends borders, as she often finds solace and inspiration in international travel, discovering cultures, and connecting with people globally.

The genesis of her brainchild, the mobile clinic, was inextricably linked to the legacy of her non-profit, the House of Isaiah, which she started to honor her late father's memory and his extraordinary life as a cross-country truck driver known for his random acts of kindness. Isaiah's spirit, marked by a fearless approach to life and an unwavering commitment to giving, sparked LaTeisha’s mission to serve. Through the House of Isaiah, she has touched lives with 'meals of motivation' and care packages, bringing warmth and care to the homeless and the underserved.

Fort Care Clinic, LLC is more than a mobile healthcare provider; it is LaTeisha's vow to deliver quality medical care to those who would otherwise be forgotten. This clinic-on-wheels is her answer to a two-decade-long dream, a tribute to her father, and her commitment to ensuring no one is deprived of the compassion and care they deserve.
